Custom Education App Guide
As a former teacher, I noticed that it was very hard for teachers and students to get the support they need. Even when a student has the best teacher possible, the teacher could be struggling to communicate with family, administrative staff, and even other teachers regarding a student's issues. This app I designed and created helps school staff stay updated on student information, in real-time, allowing staff to communicate with parents, and with each other. I created this project within a sandbox using mock data, modeling instances I have worked with professionally before. I will continue to add to this project and once done, publish it in the Salesforce AppExchange for schools to be able to use it for free.
School Social App Manual
This custom app was created to use as an instructional manual for everything needed to create a Flow Builder within Salesforce. This manual is used to guide technical staff that will be new Salesforce Administrators for a newly Salesforce transitioned university. For this client's project, I was the Designer and one of the two Technical Writers while other team members presented us with the content of the steps taken.
Slack Integration guide
I witnessed that a client would benefit from having direct messages sent to employees' phones when an important or awaited record, list, etc. would be updated on Salesforce. Afterward, I made sure they, and every client after them, benefitted from this Salesforce to Slack integration, since Slack was already widely used to communicate between employees. Having this integration helps increase productivity and helps employees "get the ball rolling" quicker. Companies I work with now and in the future, are able to have their IT department use this guide if needed.
